Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain quality standards for products, processes, and systems to prevent defects.
• Conduct audits of production processes, raw materials, and suppliers to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Perform thorough root cause analysis on product defects, non-conformities, and quality failures.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001 and assist in preparing for external audits.
• Manage quality documentation, including Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
• Participate in APQP activities, including the development of Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and FMEAs.
• Prepare and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) documentation in accordance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and Lean/Six Sigma projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing quality engineering role.
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and APQP/PPAP processes.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
