Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage shift quality operations, including the timely testing and release of raw materials and finished goods.
• Perform shift-level audits, process verifications, and line setup/changeover approvals.
• Raise incident reports for product or process non-conformances and analyze causes of rejections.
• Utilize SAP for incoming, in-process, and finished good material releases and inspection setups.
• Handle inspection instruments such as X-Ray, Stamp Camera, and Catpro.
• Create visual specification documents and ensure their distribution across the production line.
• Monitor process parameters and exercise authority to stop processing if specifications are not met.

Requirements

• B.Tech in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in an Automotive or Manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality improvement tools.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and an analytical approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the SAP Quality module.
• Knowledge of handling system audits.
