Quality Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Conduct product and process audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for continuous improvement
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement quality standards and enhance product reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline (STEM)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action methodologies
• Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, and Six Sigma principles
• US Citizenship is required due to contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as a Master’s in Engineering or a related technical field
• Lean Six Sigma certification and experience with continuous improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of industry-specific quality standards such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
