Form Energy is an American manufacturing and energy technology company revolutionizing energy storage with cost-effective, multi-day technology designed to keep the electric grid secure and reliable. We are scaling up battery manufacturing at our high-volume facility in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Design and Manufacturing Engineering to develop measurement, inspection, and test methods for Control Plans
  • Support change management and process development experiments
  • Review PFMEAs and Control Plans and assist with updates
  • Identify and resolve manufacturing quality issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Support Statistical Process Control (SPC) activities to reduce manufacturing variation
  • Support non-conforming material control activities

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing-related roles
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with SPC, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
  • Aptitude with electronic test and measurement systems
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
  • Structured problem-solving skills (8D) and knowledge of statistical tools (DOE, Cpk, Ppk)
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as JMP, R, or Minitab
  • Strong data synthesis and interpretation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
