Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage and close Quality Notifications (QNs) in a timely and thorough manner
• Perform trend analysis on production and quality data to identify recurring issues
• Lead root cause investigations using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, and FMEA
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs)
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues
• Support internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Assist in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Generate reports and dashboards to communicate quality metrics and progress

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies such as 8D, SPC, and CAPA
• Proficiency with data analysis tools including Excel, Minitab, or Power BI
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong analytical mindset and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the Food or Chemical industry
• Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma, or Lean
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
