Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary quality window to govern external ODM partners and ensure manufacturing processes align with brand standards
• Partner with R&D teams during the NPI design stage to proactively mitigate risks and implement lessons learned
• Monitor manufacturing yields at supplier sites and review quality control plans, including Control Plans and PFMEA
• Drive root-cause analysis for line defects and lead continuous improvement projects (CIP) with ODMs
• Track market quality feedback and field return trends to optimize product reliability
• Host regular quality reviews with internal stakeholders and external partners to sync on performance metrics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a Technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years of experience in the electronics or hardware industry
• Experience in SQE, CQE, PQA, or Quality Project Management
• Proficiency in 8D and Root-cause analysis
• Professional working proficiency in English for communication and report writing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ODM/OEM vendor management or factory auditing
• Knowledge of product development lifecycles and the NPI process
• Proficiency with data tracking tools and pivot tables
