Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the "voice of the customer" to support propulsion system quality and warranty reduction initiatives
• Perform early issue identification, tracking, and resolution to ensure segment leadership
• Develop, test, and create quality solutions for medium-level changes and vehicle subsystem quality
• Lead launch and current production problem-solving activities
• Analyze, project, and track warranty and customer survey information
• Facilitate Quality Review meetings and maintain integrity of presentation materials
• Support external customer issues through problem resolution tracking systems (PRTS) and supplier practical problem solving (SPPS)
• Build and cultivate relationships across multiple functions and regions

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with 2 years of equivalent manufacturing experience
• 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the year
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and off shifts, as needed by the business

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical (STEM) related field
• Strong understanding of quality processes and Global Manufacturing System (GMS)
• Experience with PRTS and SPPS
