Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Coordinate manufacturing resources to support plant operations and lead quality improvement projects
• Lead problem-solving for quality issues using root cause analysis, containment, and CAPA/8D methodologies
• Coach and develop Quality Technicians, Monitors, Analysts, and Group Leads
• Implement permanent corrective actions to eliminate process and product failures
• Identify gaps in standardized work, Process FMEAs, and Control Plans to drive improvements
• Support cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues involving customers, suppliers, and engineering
• Translate Voice of Customer and Voice of Process into actionable manufacturing performance improvements
• Participate in incident investigations and actively support safety programs

Requirements

• 4-year degree from an accredited university, preferably in Quality or Engineering
• 5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Expertise in Root Cause Analysis, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Proven track record of identifying and preventing product and process non-conformances
• Strong ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
