Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain PPAP Process and supporting functions
• Evaluate and develop improvement techniques for quality and reliability
• Maintain and report on quality management systems using Process Audits
• Coordinate Corrective Action and Continuous Quality Improvement
• Handle customer issues and review testing requirements
• Work with suppliers to ensure testing requirements are met
• Ensure production meets quality specifications
• Support upkeep of the calibration system and maintain records
• Collect SPC data and report monthly to drive process improvements
• Support manufacturing in the development of job instructions and procedures
• Make decisions regarding the disposition of non-conforming material

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related work experience preferred
• Certified Quality Engineer Certificate preferred
• Knowledge of Six Sigma
• Knowledge of production processes, machines, and tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and statistical software
• Ability to read GDT/Blueprints
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
