Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide the warehouse with final battery configuration at least two weeks before customer delivery
• Manage customer and factory claim processes, including reviewing maintenance records and implementing corrective actions
• Approve technical reports associated with customer orders, including OCV readings and capacity test reports
• Develop and maintain quality procedures and train quality control personnel
• Support testing of customer product returns and non-conforming products
• Support field service projects, internal/supplier audits, and continuous improvement efforts
• Train warehouse personnel to ensure safe and competent technical execution of orders
• Manage incoming inspection of specific factory products and interact with factory quality teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, preferably DC systems and batteries
• Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D applications
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with ERP systems and standard productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent internal and external communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Six-Sigma training
• Experience with PFMEAs, Control Plans, or AS9100 Quality Systems
• Experience with Internal Auditing and AS9100 FAIs
