Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage quality inspection and standard control, including formulating and implementing IQC, IPQC, FQC, and OQC plans.
• Utilize measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters) and interpret mechanical drawings and process documents.
• Analyze quality anomalies using 8D, 5Why, Cpk/SPC, and other analytical tools to drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Oversee the inspection team through skills training, SOP training, and safety training.
• Support system audits, including ISO9001, customer audits, and third-party audits.
• Maintain quality data and documentation, including pass rates, defect rates, and rework rates, ensuring full traceability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of quality-related experience within the machinery manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in using conventional measuring tools and reading mechanical drawings.
• Mastery of quality tools including 8D, 5Why, Cpk/SPC, and AQL.
• Familiarity with ISO9001 system implementation and audit requirements.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken Chinese and English, with the ability to produce English quality reports.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous quality experience specifically within the mining or construction equipment industry.
• Practical experience in quality control related to heat treatment processes.
• Direct experience responding to customer and third-party audits.
