Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to review product design, manufacturing processes, and test documentation
• Support preparation and performance of critical to quality tests and manufacturing process validation
• Provide Quality Engineering support for in-process and final product acceptance
• Lead Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
• Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Evaluate and report data while maintaining test documentation and COC/COA collection
• Support measurement system analysis and calibration activities
• Perform process audits including startup/shutdown verification and error proofing

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5 years of manufacturing experience in a quality engineering role
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience with measurement system analysis (R&R, SPC, capability)
• Hands-on experience with metrology equipment (micrometers, DMM, calipers, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Lithium-ion battery manufacturing or materials testing experience
• Internal auditing experience
• Experience in clean room, dry room, or wet lab environments
• Experience with mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical analysis equipment
