Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Work with cross-functional teams in Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure quality requirements are met
• Participate in investigations of non-conformances and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Perform root cause analysis using Lean tools such as 5 Why, Ishikawa, A3, and 8D
• Support internal and external audit activities and assist with the maintenance of quality procedures and document control
• Monitor quality metrics to help drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop expertise in regulatory and certification requirements including ISO9001, ATEX, MID, and UL

Requirements

• Fluent English language skills (verbal and written)
• Proven experience in a Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality role
• Practical knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing quality processes
• Strong understanding of ISO9001 principles
• Proficiency with problem-solving tools (5 Why, Ishikawa, A3, 8D)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated willingness to develop into a Quality Systems-focused role

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting or participating in formal audits
• Experience working within regulated manufacturing environments
• Exposure to Quality Management Systems and document control processes
• Internal or Lead Auditor training/certification
