Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of quality evaluations and procedures for materials, components, and finished goods
• Organize and interpret statistical data to drive quality and process improvement projects using problem-solving methodologies
• Lead corrective actions and documentation for warranty claims and operations line failure investigations
• Implement and maintain internal audit scheduling, training, and direct the internal audit team
• Collaborate with operations on data analysis to support internal and external quality reporting
• Manage the approval process for production parts to ensure requirements are met for new or modified products
• Design and conduct periodic audits of quality system procedures and purchased components to ensure compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline (or 5 years of related work experience with an Associate/Technical Degree)
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Proven experience with ISO 9001 standards
• Experience as an Internal Auditor
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Project management skills
• Experience with ASME standards
