Quality Engineer, Data Analytics & Process Improvement

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to monitor and visualize quality metrics, trends, and performance across product lines
• Analyze quality data to identify patterns, root causes of non-conformances, and areas for improvement using data science tools
• Facilitate process reviews to support shop capability and cost analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean to enhance operational performance
• Evaluate procedures and processes to ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and company quality requirements
• Automate data collection, cleaning, and reporting processes to support continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field with 2+ years of manufacturing experience (or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience)
• Proficiency in Power BI, SAP, and Solumina for data tracking and visualization
• Strong knowledge of statistical methods, data modeling, and machine learning applications
• Proficiency in data science tools such as Python, R, or SQL
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards and quality engineering principles
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to interpret and communicate complex data to stakeholders
