Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as the Quality Engineering stakeholder for all product, process, or equipment changes
• Evaluate the impact of process and equipment changes on product attributes and quality architectures
• Monitor critical product performance attributes and take appropriate action
• Perform experimental designs and data analysis to drive decision-making
• Lead or assist in the investigation of root cause and corrective actions for customer issues
• Recommend process and quality improvements or corrections
• Audit the compliance of the quality system
• Oversee initial product qualification and monitor performance for new manufacturing processes

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (any stream)
• 3-7 years of experience in a quality engineering or applications engineering role
• Proficiency with statistical software packages such as Minitab or SAS
• Experience applying structured process improvement methods like DMAIC, LEAN, or DESGN
• Experience with system audits and familiarity with ISO 9000 or TL9000 requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and influence diverse stakeholder groups
• Demonstrated quality mindset and ability to apply the scientific method to problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Prior experience working for a Multinational Corporation (MNC)
