About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate quality-related initiatives to strengthen assembly quality within the Alliance compressors facility.
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to reduce waste, reduce variation, and optimize processes.
  • Support the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management system and manage improvement projects.
  • Investigate and analyze internal quality issues, warranty claims, and customer returns using structured problem-solving.
  • Establish and implement quality product and process verification methods.
  • Audit and train personnel on quality process audits.
  • Coach and mentor operators on quality criteria and identifying abnormal conditions.
  • Track and monitor internal key metrics, including internal PPMs and scrap.
  • Implement and maintain Control plans and PFMEAs.
  • Participate in product tear-down analysis and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, production, or manufacturing engineering, or engineering technology.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (sponsorship is not provided).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Systems.
  • Three years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience in quality management, quality engineering, and lean manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with CMM, GD&T, and interpreting international standards.
