Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Manage material nonconformities and coordinate production support
• Evaluate and manage KPIs including Supplier PPM, Quarantine, and Cost
• Coordinate rework and sorting activities, including technical feasibility evaluations
• Support external communication with suppliers and procurement teams
• Analyze risks and data to identify root causes and propose corrective actions
• Plan and monitor tests to ensure production quality in cooperation with the QC laboratory
• Implement quality management systems and update documentation within production processes
• Drive continuous improvement activities in line with the Copeland Business System

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Quality Engineering, Incoming Inspection, or Supplier Quality role
• Strong background in Quality Engineering and data analysis
• Proficiency with quality tools such as 8D and Root-Cause analysis
• Ability to perform risk assessments and read technical documentation
• Strong prioritization and assertive communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
• Fluency in both Czech/Slovak and English is mandatory
