Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate manufactured products against specifications and quality standards
• Troubleshoot product issues involving designs, materials, or processes
• Determine root causes of failures and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods using statistical procedures
• Identify and implement changes to improve manufacturing processes, reduce costs, or enhance product reliability
• Apply continuous improvement methods, such as lean manufacturing, to optimize production
• Develop and maintain quality specifications and work instructions
• Train production personnel on new or existing quality methods
• Communicate manufacturing capabilities and production schedules to facilitate efficient processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related role
• Proven experience in manufacturing, process improvement, and product testing
• Proficiency in Core Tools: APQP, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and 8D/A3
• Experience as an internal auditor with ISO 9001
