Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and pre-dispatch quality inspections across carpentry, metalwork, printing, foam work, and painting
• Perform on-site QC support during and after installation to ensure design standards are met
• Verify fabricated outputs against technical drawings, specifications, and approved mock-ups
• Document and track quality defects through Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR)
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring quality issues to support corrective actions
• Maintain accurate inspection logs, QC checklists, and defect reports
• Identify opportunities for process improvement to reduce defect rates
• Adhere to all HSE protocols during workshop and on-site inspections

Requirements

• 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in event fabrication, fit-out, manufacturing, or construction
• Working knowledge of carpentry, metalwork, printing, foam work, and painting techniques
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with inspection tools
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred
• Ability to work in a workshop environment involving noise, dust, and heat
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet event deadlines
