Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Web and iOS digital systems
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for mobile applications
• Validate integrations with payment gateways, inventory systems, loyalty programs, and back-office applications
• Conduct end-to-end transaction testing including web, cash, credit/debit, mobile wallets, and returns
• Log defects, track resolution, and perform retesting to ensure software quality
• Ensure all testing activities align with established compliance standards
• Provide detailed test reports and recommend process improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in functional Mobile and digital testing
• Strong knowledge of iOS and Android platform mobile applications
• Proficiency in debugging logs using xCode and Logcat
• Experience using HTTP Proxy applications such as Charles or Fiddler
• Hands-on experience with ADB, Logcat, and StackTrace
• Proficiency with test and defect management tools like JIRA and Testrail
• Experience working with test automation frameworks
• Ability to write SQL queries for backend validation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of retail or restaurant transaction flows
• Experience coaching and setting up new quality engineering teams
