Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Define and implement manufacturing quality control plans across the factory
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to build design and process FMEAs and drive risk reduction
• Support the development of Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with ISO 9001
• Integrate QMS into production, engineering, and supply chain processes
• Develop and maintain quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions
• Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities
• Lead corrective and preventive action processes to address non-conformances
• Set up non-conformance work streams and rework processes
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality system effectiveness
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
• 3+ years of manufacturing quality experience
• Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA)
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and measurement systems analysis (MSA)
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor
