About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans, and QA/QC procedures for components and assemblies
  • Ensure consistent process implementation across different manufacturing sites
  • Lead production troubleshooting and failure analysis at component and system levels
  • Conduct internal and external quality audits, supplier audits, and compliance reviews
  • Review supplier quality documentation, material testing reports, and corrective action plans
  • Coordinate with project teams to identify quality risks and implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)
  • Apply core quality tools such as FMEA and 8D problem-solving
  • Communicate production and supplier quality performance regularly to stakeholders
  • Travel to supplier and customer sites as needed to resolve field issues and address quality concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in hardware quality, reliability, or testing (electronics, electrical, or mechanical hardware experience is highly valued)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and data visualization tools like Power BI
  • Fluency in both Norwegian and English
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
