Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide process and quality engineering support to manufacturing and product development teams
• Ensure compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures
• Identify manufacturing process defects, including scrap and nonconforming material
• Assist in identifying primary root causes and understanding corrective and preventative actions
• Review product specifications and quality specifications within quality systems
• Support product and process improvement efforts by analyzing quality metric data
• Learn and utilize prevalent quality tools and training materials to reduce process variation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 2+ years of related work experience
• Basic technical knowledge of quality concepts, practices, and procedures
• Understanding of quality system environments and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with plastics or extrusion processes
