Quality Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Define quality and patient safety objectives and implementation strategies in collaboration with Hospital Management.
• Elaborate, coordinate, and monitor improvement plans, ensuring accountability and timely execution.
• Drive organizational change to standardize work systems based on Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation standards.
• Maintain ISO 9001 certifications and other relevant healthcare quality certifications.
• Analyze clinical risks and patient safety incidents using methodologies such as AMFE and Root Cause Analysis.
• Evaluate and manage quality indicators through dashboards, converting data into actionable information for hospital leadership.
• Manage hospital quality documentation, including the development and deployment of local and corporate protocols.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare the facility for external audits and sanitary inspections.
• Identify training needs regarding quality and patient safety and manage internal communication and training programs.

Requirements

• Proven training and/or experience in quality management (indicator evaluation, data analysis, improvement plans, and ISO certification).
• Strong knowledge of quality management methodologies and patient safety protocols.
• Expertise in hospital management and healthcare quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal training as an ISO 9000 internal auditor.
• Experience with the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation system.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical risk management.
