About the role
Responsibilities
- Contribute scientific and technical leadership to ensure effective quality assurance programs
- Manage SANAS accreditation and compliance matters
- Maintain laboratory accreditation under ISO 17025
- Identify non-conformances and facilitate method validation processes
- Coordinate and administer the continuous improvement system
- Perform quality assessments and facilitate management reviews
- Develop and maintain a document control system in line with ISO requirements
- Provide guidance to laboratory personnel regarding quality control and documentation
- Evaluate data and ensure integrity of monthly QSHE reports
Requirements
- BSc degree or diploma in science
- ISO or College Quality Assurance Program Diploma
- 5 years of experience in a laboratory testing environment
- 5 years of experience with ISO systems (ISO 9000, 17025, or similar)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software
- Experience in document and report writing
- Knowledge of Statistical Quality Control
