About the role

Responsibilities

  • Contribute scientific and technical leadership to ensure effective quality assurance programs
  • Manage SANAS accreditation and compliance matters
  • Maintain laboratory accreditation under ISO 17025
  • Identify non-conformances and facilitate method validation processes
  • Coordinate and administer the continuous improvement system
  • Perform quality assessments and facilitate management reviews
  • Develop and maintain a document control system in line with ISO requirements
  • Provide guidance to laboratory personnel regarding quality control and documentation
  • Evaluate data and ensure integrity of monthly QSHE reports

Requirements

  • BSc degree or diploma in science
  • ISO or College Quality Assurance Program Diploma
  • 5 years of experience in a laboratory testing environment
  • 5 years of experience with ISO systems (ISO 9000, 17025, or similar)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Experience in document and report writing
  • Knowledge of Statistical Quality Control
