About the role

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the development and implementation of quality programs for each project
  • Design and implement audit system configurations and inspection and test plans (ITP)
  • Lead initial and follow-up meetings with site operations teams
  • Provide initial training and ongoing support regarding the quality program and audits
  • Conduct site visits to operational locations
  • Collaborate with operational teams to resolve compliance and quality issues
  • Monitor corrective actions and improvement plans resulting from audits
  • Analyze audit results and KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain and update quality performance dashboards and reports
  • Support sites in resolving non-conformities and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

  • College diploma, university certificate, bachelor's degree, or equivalent in a relevant field
  • 2+ years of experience in quality assurance within food production or manufacturing OR 2+ years in remote food services and hospitality
  • Knowledge of industrial quality control standards and food safety requirements
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Bilingualism in French and English (written and oral)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
  • Ability to travel to the field approximately 60% of the time
  • Availability for a flexible schedule including occasional weekends
