About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate research and analysis of existing procedures to standardize and formalize processes
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of current procedures and identify optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce non-strategic costs while maintaining quality standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through systematic process reviews and data-driven recommendations
- Document and maintain comprehensive procedure manuals and quality documentation
- Conduct training sessions to ensure employee compliance with standardized procedures
- Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality metrics and report to senior management
- Facilitate regular quality audits and corrective action plans
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another engineering field
- Professional certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ CQA, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, or process improvement
- Proven knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and performance metric reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Quality Management
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with Lean process improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in quality management software and statistical analysis tools
- Project management experience or PMP certification
- Experience conducting internal audits and developing corrective action plans
- Experience in regulatory compliance and industry standards (FDA, OSHA, etc.)
