Quality Control Tester

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with QC Manager, product managers, and developers to design test coverage for features
• Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and manual/automated test cases
• Perform manual testing including functional, integration, regression, smoke, and UAT
• Execute automated test scripts and conduct API and database testing
• Log, track, and manage defects in issue tracking systems like Jira
• Collect and report on quality metrics such as test coverage and defect density
• Build and maintain automated test suites to accelerate testing cycles
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups
• Maintain organized test documentation and share QA knowledge with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or IT
• 2-4 years of experience in software QA/QC or testing roles
• Experience with web-based SaaS applications or cloud services preferred
