Quality Control Technologist

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards including GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and SQF/BRC
• Perform routine quality checks on raw materials and in-process production
• Operate and monitor quality control processes on production lines and extraction processes
• Conduct laboratory testing and sensory evaluations to ensure product compliance
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality records in line with regulatory requirements
• Investigate product deviations and quality incidents to support root cause analysis
• Support the development and continuous improvement of SOPs and quality procedures
• Partner with production teams to promote quality best practices

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control
• Knowledge of food safety standards such as GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF, or BRC
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret data accurately
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• HACCP, PCQI, or SQF Practitioner certification
• Experience with ISO 9001 or ISO 22002 standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
