Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of fragrance raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Prepare samples, reagents, and reference materials for laboratory testing
• Document analytical and observational results in laboratory records and quality systems
• Conduct first-level out-of-specification (OOS) testing
• Identify deviations, trends, or recurring quality issues and escalate to appropriate personnel
• Support investigations related to quality deviations and non-conformances
• Maintain laboratory equipment through routine calibration, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Follow GMP, safety, and quality standards

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in a quality control laboratory
• Experience in fragrance, flavor, cosmetics, or specialty chemicals manufacturing preferred
• Foundational knowledge of GCMS systems
• Experience reviewing raw materials and finished fragrance products
• Familiarity with physical, chemical, and basic sensory evaluations
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work independently following written procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
