Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure products, installations, or work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Notify production supervisors and relevant personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting issues
• Examine work orders and collaborate with equipment operators and maintenance technicians to determine if mechanical or human errors contributed to quality issues
• Assist and facilitate rework activities
• Maintain a safe and accident-free environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting issues to supervisors
• Document all quality issues and assist in tracking and adjusting inventory systems

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (two-year degree preferred)
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and product specification worksheets
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Proficiency with computers, including experience with spreadsheet and database software
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work the D Shift (6 PM - 6 AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience using basic measurement equipment
• Experience with PkMS and SAP
• Experience with injection, structural foam, or rotational plastic molding
• Basic knowledge of PPAP (Production Part Approval Process)
