Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure products, installations, or work for conformance to specifications
• Notify production supervisors of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting issues
• Examine work orders and collaborate with equipment operators and maintenance technicians to identify mechanical or human errors
• Assist and facilitate rework activities
• Maintain a safe and accident-free environment by adhering to safety standards and reporting issues
• Document quality issues and track/adjust inventory systems

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and product specification worksheets
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail
• Computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheet and database software
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to work the D Shift (6PM-6AM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent
• Previous experience using basic measurement equipment
• Experience with PkMS and SAP
• Experience with injection, structural foam, or rotational plastic molding
• Basic knowledge of PPAP
