Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan internal and external QC testing
• Perform inspection and testing of raw materials, production materials, and finished products
• Sample materials and products for inspection, testing, and validation studies
• Manage environmental monitoring (EM) of production areas and utilities
• Calibrate and maintain QC and EM related equipment
• Maintain QC databases and equipment files
• Write, review, and approve quality control procedures and documentation
• Initiate and review Quality Indicators, including deviations and out of specification reports
• Participate in product development and risk management teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical, Biotechnology, or Laboratory science
• Experience with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or cGMP (FDA 21CFR820-QSR) regulatory requirements
• Technical experience testing medical devices
• Proficiency in English
• Ability to work independently with a hands-on mentality
