Quality Control Technician II

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis and testing of starting materials and products
• Prepare materials and plan for product testing activities
• Manage sample receipt, preparation, and destruction processes
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative tests using standard and automated analytical instrumentation
• Perform instrument qualification, calibration, and preventative maintenance to ensure compliance
• Work within defined processes and methodologies to determine appropriate approaches for new assignments
• Assist in the maintenance and certification of test instruments and apparatus

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Experience with analytical testing skills
• Knowledge of instrument calibration and maintenance
• Ability to work within GxP environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Biological field
• Previous experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical quality control setting
