About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate lab testing instrumentation for moisture, solids, protein, fat, and pH
- Perform microbiological plating and use Foss analytical equipment
- Ensure raw milk meets all food safety and quality requirements
- Conduct daily quality line audits and plant floor evaluations
- Document bulk product loadouts and maintain accurate laboratory data logs
- Prepare solutions and media required for laboratory tests
- Notify management of any unusual results, product defects, or unsafe conditions
- Follow all safety, work, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory setting
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Experience with microbiological testing or chemical titrations
