Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate lab testing instrumentation for moisture, solids, protein, fat, and pH
• Perform microbiological plating and use Foss analytical equipment
• Ensure raw milk meets all food safety and quality requirements
• Conduct daily quality line audits and plant floor evaluations
• Document bulk product loadouts and maintain accurate laboratory data logs
• Prepare solutions and media required for laboratory tests
• Notify management of any unusual results, product defects, or unsafe conditions
• Follow all safety, work, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a laboratory setting
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree preferred
• Experience with microbiological testing or chemical titrations
