Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify part features and tolerances meet specifications
• Develop and maintain inspection procedures, forms, and quality reporting instructions
• Investigate nonconformances and complete associated documentation such as MRRs and CARs
• Analyze causes of scrap, rework, and warranty claims to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to support continuous improvement and process stability
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in accordance with company procedures
• Review customer warranty claims and coordinate appropriate actions, including repair cost estimates
• Visit customer sites as needed to support quality investigations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2–3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a manufacturing role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and manufacturing blueprints
• Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs
• Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR/UNNPI regulations
• Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits
