About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify part features and tolerances meet specifications
- Develop and maintain inspection procedures, forms, and quality reporting instructions
- Investigate nonconformances and complete associated documentation such as MRRs and CARs
- Analyze causes of scrap, rework, and warranty claims to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to support continuous improvement and process stability
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in accordance with company procedures
- Review customer warranty claims and coordinate appropriate actions, including repair cost estimates
- Visit customer sites as needed to support quality investigations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2–3 years of experience in quality control, inspection, or a manufacturing role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and manufacturing blueprints
- Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMMs
- Must be a US Citizen due to ITAR/UNNPI regulations
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits
