Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and blueprints
• Identify defects and measure dimensions to ensure products meet established requirements
• Document inspection findings and maintain detailed records using logs and quality software
• Perform quality audits of production activities to ensure adherence to company procedures
• Communicate quality concerns and deviations to supervisors, engineers, and production teams
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes for process improvement
• Provide quality support and training to Production Associates on inspection procedures
• Assist in developing and maintaining quality records in accordance with company policies

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail for identifying subtle defects
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, specifically window manufacturing
• Good communication skills for documenting findings and reporting concerns
• Basic computer skills for documentation and data analysis
• Ability to follow safety protocols and quality control guidelines
• Physical stamina to lift and move window units

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
• Familiarity with industry standards related to window manufacturing
