Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming green coffee samples
• Prepare and dispatch samples to customers
• Cup and grade coffees according to company procedures
• Perform sample roasting for client requests and cupping sessions
• Set up and break down cupping tables
• Maintain a clean and organized quality lab
• Monitor inventory and equipment
• Register incoming samples and maintain documentation
• Perform physical grading of green coffee samples
• Assist sales team and customers with quality-related questions
• Calibrate and update customer specifications
• Support sales team with food safety, compliance, and audits

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the coffee industry
• Experience in coffee quality control or sensory analysis
• Proficiency in German and English
• Excellent organization and record-keeping skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Dynamic mindset and strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Understanding of exporter country quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Q Grader certification
• Sample roasting experience
• Experience in sales or customer-facing roles
