Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on incoming mechanical parts, electronics, batteries, and PCBs.
• Execute standardized test protocols on electronics and batteries using equipment such as oscilloscopes and Digital Multimeters.
• Identify physical, mechanical, or electrical defects and quarantine non-conforming materials to protect the production line.
• Record inspection results and document all non-conformances within quality management systems.
• Support root-cause analyses and collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams on corrective actions.
• Review and interpret technical assembly drawings, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Ensure all processes adhere to internal quality requirements and standards such as ISO 9001.

Requirements

• Completed technical education, degree, or a comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Incoming Quality Control (IQC), ideally in electronics, automotive, or aerospace.
• Proficiency in mechanical measurement and electrical functional testing.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and a highly careful work style.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance for the defence sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of advanced QM tools such as Control Plans or FMEA.
• Experience with supplier inspection processes and externally manufactured components.
• Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling requirements.
