Quality Control Specialist

Responsibilities

• Quality control of fresh product categories delivered to the MAKRO Logistics Platform
• Preparation of quality documentation regarding deliveries
• Monitoring stock of goods stored at the platform
• Preparing reports from current delivery quality control
• Managing complaints: receiving and clarifying complaints with suppliers and MAKRO halls
• Supervising compliance with hygiene rules
• Supervising the cold chain serviced by the Platform Operator

Requirements

• Experience in quality control of fruits, vegetables, meat, or fish is a major asset
• Minimum secondary education (industry-related higher education preferred, e.g., food technology, quality management, agriculture, zootechnics, or fish farming)
• Availability for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good knowledge of MS Office and computer use
• Responsibility, teamwork skills, and communication skills
• Readiness for development and independent problem-solving
