Quality Control Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test biological raw materials and manufactured intermediates through sampling, results review, and visual inspection per established procedures
• Complete all documentation clearly and accurately to ensure compliance
• Recognize and investigate out-of-specification or out-of-trend results and report findings to the supervisor
• Enter test results into ERP and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
• Follow good laboratory practices (GLP) and procedures
• Assist with testing improvements and changes within the change management process
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and interface with other departments as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory environment
• Experience with Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices (GMP/GDP)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects within required timeframes

• Experience with clinical laboratory techniques and instruments
