About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operational inspections and approve machinery start-up based on sanitation conditions
- Collect samples and swabs for microbiological testing
- Ensure calibration of metal detectors and scales
- Train operators on quality procedures
- Monitor Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in production areas
- Manage held and released products
- Conduct organoleptic and shelf-life evaluations
- Perform inspections required under the HACCP program
- Ensure compliance with product quality specifications and traceability
- Communicate non-conformities and customer complaints
- Maintain and organize quality documentation
- Meet SQF program requirements
Requirements
- University Degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or related field
- 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the food industry
- Knowledge of HACCP and SQF standards
- Proficiency in French
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Must possess a vehicle
