Quality Control Manager/SSHO

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement site-specific health, safety, and quality control programs in compliance with OSHA and EM 385-1-1 guidelines.
• Conduct daily safety and health inspections, maintain written logs, and manage a deficiency tracking system.
• Perform mishap investigations, complete accident reports, and manage OSHA Form 300/300A logging.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure strict adherence to safety and health requirements.
• Review and enforce Accident Prevention Plans (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA).
• Provide site safety orientation and indoctrination for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
• Maintain company safety and training records to ensure continuous OSHA compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction quality and safety/health industry.
• 5 years of continuous construction industry safety experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Completed 40-Hour EM 385-1-1 Certified Site Safety & Health Course.
• Completed 30-Hour OSHA Construction Training.
• USACE Construction Quality Management Training for Contractors.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Proven ability to identify onsite construction hazards and implement mitigation controls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to travel 10-25% and work onsite in Fallon, NV.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• OSHA Fall Protection Training.
• Asbestos Awareness Training.
• Hazardous Material Management (HAZWOPER) certification.
