Responsibilities
- Lead the quality, document control, and batching teams
- Serve as the primary plant liaison for quality control, quality assurance initiatives, and third-party audits
- Ensure compliance and record keeping for all mandated quality checks, testing, sampling, and sanitation activities
- Track, analyze, and lead root cause analysis for quality and consumer complaint issues
- Monitor the microbiological program for environmental testing, product testing, and sanitation verification
- Perform regular reviews of Pre-requisite programs, GMP compliance, and Sanitation Compliance
- Develop and perform annual training for GMP, GDP, and site quality expectations
- Maintain calibration logs and ensure critical testing equipment remains in compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a Quality Manager position within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) Certification
