Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of the Quality Control program and laboratory workforce at the Edwardsville facility.
• Develop and institute new test procedures, documentation, and policies for QC and technician training.
• Assign responsibilities and specific work activities to QC technicians based on branch and customer requests.
• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to establish quality and reliability standards for finished products.
• Formulate and maintain QC objectives in cooperation with plant managers to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Conduct independent laboratory tests, interpret results, and oversee product adjustments.
• Ensure proper care and maintenance of all laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding existing products and direct the resolution of QC problems.

Requirements

• College or technical school certificate (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Previous laboratory experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong math and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
