Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Monitor all aspects of work to ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and client quality programs
• Supervise QC Inspectors and ensure correctness of work sign-off activities
• Perform receipt, in-process, and final inspection and test activities
• Interface with Regulatory Authorities and Pressure Boundary jurisdictions
• Establish Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) and prepare Manufacturer’s Data Reports
• Verify, control, and accept dispositions of non-conformances
• Ensure proper use and safe handling of measurement and test equipment
• Coordinate project QC activities with subcontractors and outside organizations

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years College or University in a technical related discipline or related experience
• Minimum 10 years construction trades experience
• Minimum 5 years QA/QC experience including non-conformance control and ITP generation
• Required experience in the nuclear industry
• Extensive knowledge of nuclear codes including ASME III, CSA N285, CSA N299, B51, B31.1&3, and ISO standards
• Ability to obtain OPG Security Clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
