Quality Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain a unified QMS across all end-to-end business processes compliant with AS9100 and defence-specific standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for defence compliance audits and customer quality assurance representatives
• Champion a culture of zero-defect and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma
• Partner with Engineering teams to oversee design verification, validation, and risk management (DFMEA/PFMEA)
• Provide quality oversight on complex electronics engineering, including PCB/PCBA manufacturing and component traceability
• Oversee Software Quality Assurance (SQA) frameworks for embedded software and firmware
• Drive manufacturing process controls, root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys), and CAPA
• Manage the global supplier quality assurance program to ensure international compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• 8-10 years of progressive experience in a joint design and manufacturing organization
• Proven track record in the defence sector including procurement and security protocols
• Extensive experience managing QMS certified to ISO 9001 and AS9100

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with software development processes or Agile methodologies
• Experience managing quality teams or supply chains across international jurisdictions
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Lead Auditor certification
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
