Responsibilities

• Perform raw material and finished product testing while assuring appropriate and complete documentation
• Assist Scientists in conducting bioassays, maintaining plant cultures, and plant propagation
• Prepare a variety of media types and laboratory reagents
• Package and store applicable product retains
• Perform basic lab and greenhouse maintenance and cleaning
• Maintain test stations
• Comply with quality systems procedures and safety policies

Requirements

• Coursework in a Biological discipline or equivalent work experience
• Previous hands-on lab experience preferred
• Exposure to aseptic technique preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
• Proficiency in intermediate personal computer skills including spreadsheets and databases
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
