Quality Control Intern

Responsibilities

• Participate in laboratory maintenance, including cleaning glassware, equipment, and work areas
• Manage laboratory supplies by receiving, inventorying, and organizing solvents, reagents, and standards
• Prepare and distribute samples for stability testing and routine analyses
• Collaborate with teams to ensure a constant supply of necessary materials
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize laboratory processes
• Perform various tasks such as sample destruction, powder grinding, and record verification

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (or currently pursuing)
• Strong interest in the pharmaceutical or health sciences field
• Proficiency in French is required for effective communication and regulatory compliance
• Basic computer skills, specifically with Excel and Access
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and rigorous operational standards
• Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience through internships, student jobs, or school projects
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Ability to handle light loads and remain standing for extended periods
• Strong communication skills to interact with technicians, supervisors, and suppliers
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
